Stripper Alizee Sery's Uluru/Ayers Rock tribute
Posted at 17:07 on 27 June, 2010
Here's trouble. The traditional owners of Uluru (AKA Ayers Rock) don't quite love the idea of people climbing it, and here we have a stripper getting her gear off at the top instead.
French-born exotic dancer Alizee Sery, 25, walked to the top of Uluru and laid on an impromptu show. She said she did it as a "tribute" to Aboriginal people and their culture and to fulfil a lifelong dream. But the performance is likely to anger traditional owners who see Uluru as the most sacred place in Central Australia.
